“Back to the future”: the murder of prince Vasily Vymsky

The article is dedicated to a particular aspect of “history as the text — text as history” subject. Analyzing the plot about murder of prince Vasily Vymsky (1480), the author shows how a quasihistorical reality occurs as a result of difficult nonlinear interaction of oral and written narrations.
